The Friends of Planet 9 Light Ups OG 78A are skateboard wheels built for cruising. Their soft 78A durometer rolls smoothly over rough pavement, cracks, and asphalt while built-in lights glow as you skate. Mount them to your setup to roll through the streets or cruise around your local park.
Description
If you want to turn rough streets and sidewalks into smooth rolling paths, these 78A skateboard wheels are designed to get you moving. The 78A rating provides a soft feel under your deck, absorbing road chatter from uneven asphalt, pavement seams, and small pebbles. Whether you are cruising to school, rolling around your neighborhood, or heading to the local skate park, this setup helps you maintain speed without having your feet rattled by rough ground.
The standout feature of these wheels is the built-in Light Ups mechanism. As you push and your wheels spin, internal lights illuminate your path. This gives your board a distinct look during evening sessions and allows people to see you rolling. Because they focus on smooth cruising, they pair well with your standard skateboard trucks and bearings when building a dedicated commuter complete or setting up an all-around street cruiser.
Swapping out hard park wheels for soft 78A wheels is a simple step when you want a softer roll on city streets. You can mount them to your trucks and head out to skate with friends or carve across open pavement.
